Contemporary artistic performance is a hybrid and rebellious art, and it is a discourse and artistic practice that is constantly affected by scientific developments and modern and technological technologies on the one hand, and by societal and intellectual changes on the other hand. The act of hybridization in artistic performance consists in mixing the artist’s body with machines and technology, and in another hybridization by mixing artistic and scientific races to experiment with new images of performance.
